This is unquestionably the best product I've ever used (and in 25 years of salon-going and drugstore shopping, I've tried A LOT of products).The Alterna Glaze is light (doesn't weigh down my hair) and moisturizing; my hair feels silky but not at all gunked up -- it feels as though I have no product in my hair. It gives me good curl definition with zero stiffness, and when I blow my hair straight, the Glaze makes it shiny and silky. Also, it eliminates frizz, which is a problem in my humid climate. A former coworker who has slightly coarser curly hair also swears by the Glaze. I have used this after washing my naturally curly hair for at least 5 years. It's not the cheapest on the market - I usually pay about $19 for 5.1 oz. I've tried many other products and end up giving them away and just spending the money on this. I'm lazy and don't like to fuss with my hair so I just put about 1/2 TB of this in and hand comb my hair and it's great for a couple of days. This adds texture to my hair without harsh chemicals. The positive side of it is the support of growing hemp which is good for so many things. This hemp is NOT the kind used for recreational drug use but rather used for safe strong ropes, paper, natural products, food and fuel! If more Americans DEMANDED to right to once again grow and manufacture products using hemp the world would be better off. But for now I am thankful that I can purchase this superior product at a low price. Go Amazon! |
